How I Work

How I Show Up

I work as a true partner, not a vendor. That means I get to know your organization, your people, and the context behind the work before I make recommendations. The advice you get from me is grounded in how your business actually operates.

I’ll tell you what I think. When something carries risk, I’ll say so. When a decision feels off, I’ll push back. And when you need someone to just get it done, I do that too.

What you won’t get is a consultant who shows up with a predetermined approach and applies it regardless of fit. Every organization is different, and the work reflects that.

Ways to Work Together

Every engagement starts with a conversation. From there, most work fits into one of three models:

Fractional Retainer

Consistent, embedded support on an ongoing basis. I function as your People leader - available when you need me, integrated into how your team operates, and accountable for outcomes over time. Right for organizations that need senior HR leadership without a full-time hire.

Project-Based

A defined scope with a clear beginning and end. Right for organizations with a specific problem to solve, a function to build, or a transition to navigate.

On-Demand

Hourly support for specific situations as they arise - a complex employee relations matter, a compliance question, a decision that needs a thought partner. No retainer required.

What to Expect

You work directly with me. I stay close to the work and accountable for outcomes - regardless of how an engagement is structured or who may be supporting it.

I manage my client roster carefully so I can show up fully for the organizations I work with. If I don’t think I’m the right fit, I’ll tell you - and if I can point you toward someone who is, I will.

Every engagement starts with a conversation to make sure it’s the right fit for both of us.
